DESIGNER INFORMATION: Pierre Cardin was one of the great disruptors of twentieth century fashion. A French-Italian visionary, he was known for futuristic silhouettes, geometric forms and a belief that fashion should be democratic yet daring. His work defined space age glamour in the 1960s and 1970s, and even his accessories carry that same architectural clarity and bold optimism.
