The face fabric is a crisp and crinkly nylon taffeta (?) that offers ample water-repellency in light rain. This encases, in diamond-stitched baffles, Eitechdown insulation. This synthetic fill boasts down-like warmth, with none of the drawbacks, meaning it’ll keep you warm even when wet. Press stud fastening and the rounded collar reduces bulk and makes the style easier to layer, and increases packability.

Gramicci’s sizing can be confusing. The size label states the Asia and US size, but like most UK based stores we use the Asian sizing as this is closest to the true size.
