Decon Ready™ is a laundry detergent made for firefighters to remove dirt, oil, soot, grease, and other hydrocarbon contaminants from Turnout Gear & PPE.

FIREFIGHTER AND OTHER EMERGENCY PPE:Read turnout gear and PPE manufacturer maintenance and cleaning instructions as well as NFPA 1851 Standard on Selection, Care, and Maintenance of Protective Ensembles for Structural Fire Fighting and Proximity Fire Fighting. Wear protective eye wear, gloves, and for heavily contaminated equipment, wear an N95-rated face mask while handling gear.


TURNOUT GEAR AND PPE DETERGENT RECOMMENDATION:

NOTE: Some experimentation may be required to finalize average quantities for the desired cleaning. Add additional 2 ounces to each load recommendation for moderately contaminated gear.
