Ride Quality Note: Lifting a vehicle and adding aftermarket wheels and tires can significantly affect overall ride quality. Tire construction and material quality vary by manufacturer and play a key role in how the vehicle feels on the road. Upsizing to larger wheels and tires often means switching from standard OEM C-load (6-ply) tires to heavier-duty E-load (10-ply or higher) options. These tires have stiffer sidewalls, which can make the suspension feel firmer and may result in increased ride harshness.

Additionally, different tire types—such as All-Season, All-Terrain, Mud-Terrain, and Trail-Terrain—offer varying levels of ride comfort, handling, traction, road noise, fuel efficiency, and tread life. Carefully consider your tire and wheel selection, as these choices can have a substantial impact on your vehicle’s ride and handling characteristics.
