Rime, a woolen upholstery fabric designed by Åsa Pärson, features a melange-like appearance when viewed from a distance, inspired by 17th-century polonaise carpets. The fabric is named for the harmony achieved by its two tone combinations. Utilizing a satin weave, Rime has a tight, smooth, and lustrous structure. Each colorway combines a clear tone with a shade, creating a unicolored look in some combinations and a more defined texture in others. With its versatile palette of natural, earthy, and bold hues, Rime is well-suited for modern offices and soft contract settings. Åsa Pärson explains, "Rime is multifunctional, offering three distinct looks depending on the level of contrast between the two colors used in its construction: smart, happy, or elegantly simple."
