Produced by Herbie Mann and featuring an extraordinary cast including Herbie Hancock on piano and Ron Carter on bass, the record moves gracefully between soul-jazz and bossa nova, with Ayers' vibraphone carrying everything from lush Jobim covers to a jittery, samba-infused title track.
