Butterfly valves are designed for use as shut-off or regulating valves for controlling flows in heat supply systems, water supply systems, in technological processes of food, chemical, oil and gas, pulp and paper and other industries.
Operating principle: The valves are opened and closed by turning the disk by 90°. Opening is performed by turning the handle counterclockwise, closing - clockwise. The peculiarity of the gate valves of this series is the complete covering of the flow part and disk with PTFE material, which allows to exclude the contact of the working medium with the materials of the main parts.
The HAM gearbox allows manual setting of the required positioning of the shut-off valve by a quarter turn, acting as an alternative to pneumatic, electric or hydraulic quarter-turn actuators. Suitable for ball valves, butterfly valves, valves with a 90° swing angle as well as for controlling air dampers.
A distinctive feature of this series of valves is that the flow path and disc are completely coated with PTFE, which prevents the working medium from coming into contact with the materials of the main components.
